Situated in the Puerto de Jerez, Hotel Tayko is sat comfortably away from major attractions like the Real Alcázar, Seville Cathedral (La Giralda) and Plaza de España (600 m away). A boutique hotel, fitted with soundproof rooms and air conditioning, it's made up of single to double and superior rooms, with beautiful interiors, kitted out with a free mini bar and luxe bedding.
The hotel exudes a refined blend of contemporary elegance and Andalusian charm. The light-filled rooms feel both cozy and sophisticated, creating a serene retreat after exploring Seville. Even though I was only staying for one-night, the staff were wonderful and made us feel exceptionally well cared for—warm, attentive, and effortlessly professional.
One of the highlights was the small roof terrace with a plunge pool. It may be modest in size, but it was absolutely perfect—just enough space to cool off and unwind with a view over the rooftops of the city.
And then there’s the location, which is simply unbeatable. Hotel Tayko is tucked into the historic Santa Cruz / Casco Antiguo district at Puerta de Jerez 3, steps from the Puerta Jerez tram stop. From here, you're an easy 2‑minute stroll to the Royal Alcázar, about 5 minutes to Seville Cathedral, and roughly 11 minutes to Plaza de España. The iconic Torre del Oro, Parque de María Luisa, Casa de Pilatos, Teatro Lope de Vega, and more are all within easy walking distance—making it an ideal base to explore Seville’s highlights on foot.
If you’re staying in Seville—even if it’s just for one night—Hotel Tayko Sevilla is a stylish, calming, and well-located gem.
