In general I am definitely one of those people with the "can't be bothered" attitude, applying it to so many different things, whether it's typically cleaning my room, or having to go into town to pick up bits and pieces and sometimes it's actually having to get changed from casual wear to more dressy attire. Especially if I'm already comfy and happy with what I'm wearing, but if it's not appropriate and I need to change, just ugh.

For my day wear I paired my go-to high waisted shorts from Mango, with a basic crop top from Boohoo, both compliment each other because of the basic and simplicity of the shape and style, along with a long thick knit cardy from Hollister Co.
As I'm based in England, although it's Summer, it's cold and wet. So I felt like added more dark tones to the neutral outfit, so I went with my black KG Carvela flats and my black Calvin Klein bag.

If you keep it basic and simple with style, you can't go wrong.

Now switching from day to night!
The boldest way to add to a really basic outfit is to add a splash of colour or texture.
In this case I've done both with this Zara jacket I got for about just under a tenner from a charity shop,  b a r g a i n.

The detail of this jacket is beautiful and so unique, it's almost woven with different styled threads, which are each peach/pink colours, leaving it with short fringes all over. The buttons give off a very sophisticated allure, which tones down the overly fun colour of the jacket, keeping it smart.

When it comes down to shoes, it all depends on what you're getting up to, for this outfit I paired my Public Desire nude heels with it, but in my mind I'm seeing some smart brogues working so well with it as well, (due to the fact I don't actually own any, is why I didn't wear them!)

I've simply kept the top and shorts the same, and changed the outwear and shoes, creating the ideal day - night outfit change.
