When one of my long-time favourite sustainable brands - Sisterhood The Label - recently dropped their new collection Casa Vacación Mallorca, I was reminded of just how great, stylish and important it is to shop sustainably and smaller. Fast fashion always throws me off, tells me lies and convinces me I need something new far too often. I'm always disappointed by the quality and left in a pit of shame of wasteful impulse spending.
These smaller drops of gorgeously designed and well-thought out collections feel like a harmony to the eye — a calm contrast to the constant overload of fast fashion. Although the price point may be higher, you’ll buy less and invest in the longevity of your wardrobe — all while being more eco-conscious in the process.
So I’ve put together a considered edit of pieces from some of my favourite slow, sustainable brands — all chosen with longevity, versatility, and intention in mind.
